Public Notice – AORS Design a Road Sign Contest

AORS is celebrating National Road Safety Week from May 12-18, 2026 by engaging youth across Ontario to harness ideas for new signage that would make roads safer in Ontario!

AORS is excited to partner with our friends at Cedar Signs to offer a “Design Your Own Road Sign” contest for Ontario students in grades 4-8. Students should be encouraged to design a road sign that could be used to make Ontario roads safer for all.

The top three winners will receive a custom road name sign from Cedar Signs, and the winning design will have their road sign brought to life thanks to Cedar Signs!

All submissions will be posted on the AORS website.

You can find the sign template here. 

All submissions should be received to AORS by either scanning and emailing to Kelly Elliott, Executive Director at kellyelliott@aors.on.ca, or by mail to the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors, Attn: Kelly Elliott, PO Box 2669, St. Marys, ON N4X 1A4 by Friday May 22nd, 2026.
